"My name is Lucy and I am a really lucky dog as I go for my holidays to Hydegate Pet Resort at Uley. I stay in a Premier Chalet, double glazed - no draughts, heat lamp, sheepskin to lie on. The best bit of my holidays are the Golden Heart sessions - my Mum pays extra for these but they are really worth it - I get to have 4 extra walks, play sessions, or cuddles every day! They even check me over to make sure I am fit and well and groom me daily. My Mum comes all the way from Bristol - she wouldn't take me anywhere else."

Mollie Sainty Our Staffie, Mollie, always enjoys her "short breaks" at Hydegate, and we always feel reassured in the knowledge that she is in the best of care whilst we are away, following "dog impossible" pursuits.

On her last visit to you, we were presented with a photo key-ring when we collected her, which we thought was an interesting novelty. However, we were intrigued to "view the album" as noted on the accompanying reference slip. Well, what can I say, it was the start of a fabulous little journey... James was a pure delight to work with and created some stunning photos for us. Yesterday we received our order of several mounted and framed pictures, which inspired me to write and thank you for the key ring that sparked the idea in the first place!

Ruby, Ellie and Nelson

Ruby, Ellie and Nelson love to stay at Hydegate in the premier apartments and have been coming here for 7 years. The staff are very professional and obviously love the dogs and the dogs love them. The dog's tails start to wag as they leave the car and go through the gate, it makes leaving them much easier for us when we go away knowing that they are happy and well looked after.

Their daily health check and end of stay report let us know that they are regularly monitored and should an issue arise that it will be dealt with immediately and not left for us to deal with on our return.

All the dogs are also regular visitors throughout the year for bathing and grooming - again carried out in a professional and caring manner leaving them looking and smelling wonderful!

From the day we brought our little Bernese Mountain dog puppy 'MIA' for one hour acclimitisations to day boarding, overnight stays and eventually longer periods of kennelling, we have found your level of concern and happiness for her while under your supervision excellent. This is evident in the waggy tail every time she visits.

The professionalism of the kennels is to be congratulated and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective clients.

I like my Premier apartment, my 14 point health checks, but particularly those TLC sessions and extra cuddles.
