Our stunning cattery was developed around what would be best for your cat, after consulting a leading Feline Behaviourist and the RSPCA about their latest ideas and recommendations.
Our cattery
After consulting a leading Feline Behaviourist, and the RSPCA, about their latest ideas and recommendations, the outcome was our luxurious cattery where the cats have their own indoor, heated bedrooms with all day access to secure outside runs with views.
Daily care package
Your cat's daily care package includes:
- A daily, one to one, 10 minute care session with a member of staff. This will include playing with toys, cuddling or grooming depending upon what is best for your cat.
- Clean cosy beds.
- Food. We have a variety of tinned and dry food. If you would prefer to bring your own food we would be pleased to discuss this with you.
- Careful recorded daily monitoring of your cat's health and well being. The recorded information will be discussed with you when you come to pick your cat up.
As part of the standard care, we provide what we believe to be the best pet food available - Hill's Science Plan.
Additional care sessions
In addition to the Daily Care package, you can choose 1,2,3, or 4 additional care sessions per day. These can be either:
- A ten minute grooming session.
- A ten-minute cuddle session.
- A ten-minute play session.
Or you can choose from a selection of these options each day.
You can design your cat's holiday around your own cat's needs.
Safety
Hydegate cattery is specially designed for the safety of your cat. The cattery has a triple security corridor. Leaving your cat's care to a friend will be far less secure. We have 24-hour veterinary cover and personnel on site 24 hours a day.
Support
Our experienced team are backed up by our strong relationship with a number of local vets. We prefer to use Armstrong Mobile Vets because they come to us, visiting our premises should we need them. We feel this is much more beneficial to the pets in our care.
